Our History & Growth Timeline

  • 1955 – Courtesy Chevrolet Founded in Arizona
    Courtesy Automotive Group opens its first Chevrolet dealership in Phoenix Arizona. We were the first auto dealership on Camelback Road.
  • 1961 – Expansion to San Diego, California with Courtesy Chevrolet Center
    The group enters California with its second Chevrolet dealership in the heart of San Diego.
  • 2017 – Courtesy Volvo Cars of Scottsdale
    Courtesy Opens it’s second new brand and first Luxury auto dealership in Scottsdale.
  • 2019 – Addition of Courtesy Chrysler Dodge RAM & Courtesy Jeep in Mesa
    Courtesy purchases struggling Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership in Mesa on Superstition Springs Blvd.
  • 2020 – Courtesy Kia in Mesa is opened
    With the rising popularity of Korean imports, Courtesy opens a Kia dealership in Mesa, AZ.
  • 2022 – Polestar Scottsdale Opens
    Polestar Scottsdale is opened as Arizona’s only Polestar Luxury Automotive Store at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
  • 2023 – Courtesy Nissan of Mesa is added to the group
    Courtesy purchases East Valley Nissan and welcomes its 7th dealership to the group in Mesa. AZ.
  • 2025 – Courtesy Automotive Group 70 Year Anniversary
    Courtesy Automotive Group celebrates 70 years and 3 generations of family business serving Arizona & California’s Automotive Needs
